Proverbs 22:6 tells us to “Train up a child in the way he should go; and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” But how do we do this in a world that is adrift with the influences of secularism? Where do we look for help? It is reassuring to know that the Bible still provides the instruction and wisdom necessary for steering us, and our children, through the challenges of life. We endeavor to partner with the parent in this training. Our curriculum filters Godly principles throughout the lessons in nearly every subject. Bible is a mandatory class in every grade which requires Scripture memorization and study. Chapel is a weekly session that invites lessons from pastors of like faith in the area.
Parents and students will find that each staff member is not only well qualified for his or her position, but genuinely committed to Biblical values and teaching in a Christ-like and God-honoring manner. Each one is a faithful member of either Faith Baptist Church or another supporting church. Each are active in their local church ministry. We hope to pass this ministry lifestyle on to the students and have events through the year where students can minister in the community. Caroling in nursing homes, putting Bible Testaments together for others to spread of the gospel overseas, student work days and community contributions are planned to teach children a servant’s heart.
In addition, we believe education should go beyond just the books and classrooms. It’s more than just facts. A well-rounded education will meet the needs of students in all four life areas; spiritual, social, academic, and physical. Therefore, in addition to a strong academic program and an emphasis on Christian values, FBCS offers extra-curricular activities for its students in fine arts and athletics.
We also offer several fun events through the year like our annual Bike Parade for the Elementary, the Carnival for the school families, and the Thanksgiving Feast that includes a program and dress up contest. We hope you will partner with us to make each school year the best experience for each student.
