Academic Standards

Faith Baptist Christian School is a ministry of Faith Baptist Church and has provided quality Christian education for families in the tri-county area since 1976.

Though our methods and facilities have changed over the years, we have an unwavering commitment to the Bible as the only sure answer to all of life’s diverse challenges.

• Every grade level starts their day with Bible class.

• Once a week our students participate together in our chapel program.

• Our curricula is Bible-centered.

  • In our pre-school and elementary we use the ABeka Curriculum.

    • produced by Pensacola Christian College and recognized for its excellence, especially in phonics based language arts.

  • On the Junior and Senior High School levels we also use materials from Bob Jones University Press.

    • Recognized for helping the student develop Bible-based critical thinking skills.

• Though our academics are applied primarily through traditional methods, we seek to keep current with technological advancements

  • As God provides, we make upgrades in order to provide a variety of media in the classroom for enhanced learning.

• Our classes consistently test in high percentiles on achievement tests

  • Often ranking months, if not years ahead of schools in our area.

  • We also rank above average in comparison to other Christian schools in our associations.

• Many of our Juniors and Seniors also have high ACT and SAT scores

• A high percentage of our graduates go on to college of their choice, with many earning academic scholarships.

• A number of our alumni have chosen careers in vocational ministry, as well as the U.S. Armed Forces, public service and first response, teaching, medicine, business administration, and finance.

However, we not only want our students to be prepared to make a living, we want to prepare them for life.
